How should we place in MNC companies like google, microsoft ?
Hii,
If you want to get placed in big companies like Google or Microsoft, you need to start preparing step by step. These companies look for people who have good knowledge, real skills, and a strong personality. So first, figure out what kind of job you want—whether it’s in software development, data analysis, digital marketing, or something else.
Let’s say you’re going for a tech job like software engineer. Then you need to learn programming languages like Python, Java, or C++. You also need to practice Data Structures and Algorithms (these are the kind of coding questions they ask in interviews). You can practice on websites like LeetCode or HackerRank. It may seem tough at first, but with daily practice, you’ll get better.
Apart from coding, they also check if you’ve done any real projects. So build some apps or websites, and upload them on GitHub. If you’re into marketing or business roles, then focus on tools like Excel, Google Analytics, Power BI, or SQL, and try doing internships in those areas.
Once you feel confident with your skills, make a good one-page resume. Mention your skills, projects, education, and any internships you’ve done. Also, make your LinkedIn profile look professional—it helps when you apply for jobs and connect with employees who already work in those companies. Sometimes, they even give referrals.
Most MNCs have 3–4 interview rounds. The first is usually an online test—either coding or aptitude. After that, there are technical interviews where they ask about your projects, your thinking process, and some tricky coding questions. Then comes an HR or manager round where they check your communication skills, confidence, and how well you fit into their team.
The most important thing is to be consistent. Don't give up if you don’t get selected on the first try. Keep learning, improving your skills, and applying again. Everyone fails once or twice—it’s part of the journey. Just stay focused and keep moving forward.
