How the aiims percentile is calculated??

Hello Amith,
The percentile scores are calculated as per the performance of the candidates in the entrance examination. It shows the percentage of candidates securing equal to or below the highest percentile score in examination. So, the highest scorer of each group will get 100 percentile. All the scores between highest and lowest scores are also converted to appropriate percentile. The percentile scores is to be calculated up to 07 decimal points to reduce ties.
