How the placements in engineering

Hi ! Nowadays, placement in engineering colleges are undergoing through worst condition. Leaving all the top IIT's , NIT's, IIITS and good private colleges, are suffering from unemployment. Ordinary colleges average pay package scales to 4 lacs/annum. It's too low. Even in new IIT's and in nits and in IIITS the placement are not worthy to say. Except CSE and IT and ECE the placement are very poor in core companies and in streams such as biotechnology, chemical sometimes average package goes down to 2lacs/ annum. So hope you understand and best of luck to you.

Hi there!!!!! The answer to your question is relative to the college. Every college has different standards of placements. Colleges like IITs and NITs and some brilliant private colleges like BITS Pilani have comparatively better placements than other engineering colleges. But the most important factor that determines placements is the student's own skills and calibre. Overall the placements are good and engineering is a career full of opportunities. Its really a matter of your own skills and dedication that determines the placements(and to a certain extent even the college). Hope I cleared your query.
