How the process of counciling in iit and nit are conducted(online or offline)? Can you give me some details about this?

The counselling, casting web options and fee payment is done online only and you can do it from any place by your user id and password.
When it comes to certificate verification you need to visit the home state nit and for iit's there are some specific centers you can go there and get your certificates verified.
They ask you to pay fee from round 2 i.e. if you want to go for round 2 you need to pay the fee to confirm your round 1 seat.
