How to aply NID exam for product design

Step 1: Check if you're eligible.
If you are applying for Bachelor of Design (B.Des), you should be in 12th standard or have already passed it.
If you are applying for Master of Design (M.Des) in Product Design, you should have completed a college degree in any subject.

Step 2: Go to the official NID website.
Visit the link admissions.nid.edu.

Step 3: Register yourself.
Click on Register or Sign Up.
Fill in your name, email, mobile number, and create a password.
You will get an OTP or email to confirm your registration.

Step 4: Fill out the application form.
Log in using your email and password.
Choose your course (B.Des or M.Des - Product Design).
Fill in your personal and education details.

Step 5: Upload documents.
Upload your recent passport-size photo, your signature, and category or education certificates if asked.

Step 6: Pay the application fee.
Pay the fee online using a card, UPI, or net banking.
The amount depends on your category (General, SC, ST, etc.).

Step 7: Download and save the form.
After paying, download your filled application form and payment receipt.
This confirms that you have successfully applied.

Once done, keep checking the website for updates about the exam date and admit card.
