How to apply for a 12 std student appearing for boards

Candidates, who have passed or are appearing in class 12th or equivalent, exam are eligible to apply for admission to IISERs. However, apart from class 12th, you need to have appeared in exams - JEE Advanced, KVPY and SCB. Without having appeared in any of these channels, you will not be considered for admission. Admission to IISERs happen through 3 chanels - Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) or JEE Advanced or through State and Central Boards Channel (SCB). On the basis of these 3 or any one of the above mentioned 3 channels, you need to apply or fill the application form for B.Tech. IISERs offer 5-year BS-MS degree programmes across the seven participating institutes. Candidates applying through JEE Advanced and KVPY, are eligible for direct admission, while candidates applying through SCB channel, have to take an aptitude test.
