First, wait for the KCET results and rank list, which are usually announced in May. Once that is out, counselling begins around June.

To start, you must register online on the KEA counselling portal using your KCET application number and password. You’ll also need to upload or present all required documents for verification, such as your KCET admit card, Class 10 & 12 marksheets, study certificate, and any category or income certificates.

After registration and document verification, you'll receive a verification slip and login credentials. Next, log in to fill your choices, select courses and colleges in your preferred order.

Once choice filling ends, KEA will release a mock seat allotment so you can see where you might get in. Based on that, you can modify your preferences if needed before the final round.

Then comes the real seat allotment. If you get a seat, download the allotment letter and pay the admission fee online. Finally, report in person at the college with all original documents to complete your admission.

There are multiple rounds of counselling, including secondary and special rounds, so if you don’t get a seat initially, you’ll have more chances in later rounds.
