how to apply residancy at john hopkins?
Hi Nikhil,
The application procedure to apply for Johns Hopkins General Preventive Medicine Residency training is as follows:-
- All applicants to the General Preventive Medicine Residency program must apply via the online School of Public Health Application Service (SOPHAS) system. Additional information and a link to SOPHAS may be found on the Admissions Office webpage. Please see the list of Required Application Materials before beginning your online application.
- Applicants to the training program should select the appropriate designation listed in SOPHAS (i.e. RES/MPH GPMR 2021, RES/GPMR 2021) as their degree program. Only one application is required. All application materials should be submitted to SOPHAS as instructed. The residency program and the MPH admissions committees will review the applications once they are complete. Acceptance by the school's MPH program is required for admission to the residency program.
- Applicants may use the ERAS system to submit their USMLE scores if they wish. Please note that this is optional and does not replace the SOPHAS application.
