You must first finish your 12th grade, ideally in commerce, in order to become a CMA following the 10th.  Take the CMA Foundation course after that, and then take the CMA Intermediate and CMA Final tests.  Complete hands-on training under a licensed professional after passing the examinations.  Additionally, you need to register with the Indian Institute of Cost Accountants (ICMAI).  Depending on your progress, the complete process often takes three to four years.
