how to become an aircraft manufacture?
hey,
i hope you are doing well
the basic eligibility criteria to pursue under graduate course of aircraft manufacturing and maintenance engineering is candidate must have passed their 10+2 from recognized board with science stream subject having physics, chemistry and mathematics or candidate must hold a diploma of three years in field of mechanical , electrical or aeronautical . , to take admission you are required to appear for AME CET exam (aircraft maintenance engineering common entrance test)., minimum duration of this course is 24 month A program and maximum program of same is 48 month B program.

Hello khusi
IITs conduct undergraduate courses in Aeronautical Engineering of which Aircraft Manufacturing and Maintenance Engineering is a part. After the completion of the course, you can also appear for Associate Membership of Aeronautical Society of India (AMAeSI).
In today’s world, having a single graduate degree will not make you stand out from the crowd. Thus, students have started opting for two courses together, to increase their skill and knowledge about several subject.
If you are looking for a career change, Integrated Program may help you advance your basic degree and also help you explore areas in the other fields too. Another major advantage of such a course is that you may also gain versatility and add an additional course to your professional portfolio.
Such programs is less costly in comparison to doing Aeronautical Engineering degrees and AME separately. By doing integrated program, one not only save time but they also become fully skilled. Suppose a student is doing only B.Tech. Aeronautical Engineering, if he or she happens to join in some Airlines as a graduate engineer trainee, than again he is suppose to put up another two years for clearing DGCA’s, AME License examination. All this reflects, that an Integrated Program Personals is have an edge on either only Aeronautical Engineering personal or only AME personals. More over these personals will have both designing skill as well maintenance skills.
Integrated course is a combined course of B.Tech. (Aeronautical Engineering) and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, in which students will appear for two different examinations for issue of Degree and License. Both the courses will be running parallel to each other, at the end of four years students will have both B.Tech. (Aeronautical Engineering) & Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, thereby making him eligible for both Manufacturing as well Maintenance jobs related to aircrafts. This will also enhance the placement probabilities as we will be able to apply for every type of job available in aviation engineering industry, either related to manufacturing or maintenance.
More and more number of students have started opting for dual degrees or dual courses, in order to make themselves stand out in crowd. These students with Integrated course are preferable candidate in Industry because employers can place them in any of the relevant jobs in their company.
Along with course curriculum, we are also providing deigning and analysis related software’s to the students to make them eligible for designing industry too.
These students will be appearing for two separate examinations of University for award of B.Tech. degree and DGCA license examination for award of AME license.
Practical’s being provided to them has been designed in such a way so to make them eligible for jobs in both manufacturing as well as maintenance sector jobs.
QUALIFICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO INTEGRATED PROGRAM OF AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING AND AME
Minimum eligibility criteria for admission into Integrated Program is:
- Applicant must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or equivalent. Students having any other optional subject in place of Chemistry are also eligible. E.g. Computer Science in place of chemistry along with Physics and Mathematics.
- 3 years Engineering Diploma in the relevant stream. (i.e. Diploma in Mechanical, Production & Industrial, Electronics & Communication, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Telecommunication Engineering and Aeronautical Engineering. Students with this qualification are eligible for lateral entry into second year of Aeronautical Engineering Program.
- B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Students with this qualification are eligible for lateral entry into second year of Aeronautical Engineering Program.
- Candidate must have minimum 60% marks in 10+2 in PCM or equivalent or in any of the above qualification requirement.

Hope it helps.
All the best!
Hello,
You have to do BTech in aeronautical engineering or aerospace engineering. After completion of graduation, you have to do Mtech in aircraft manufacturing. Then you have to look out for job options which has the post. Either the campus where you will study Mtech will provide opportunities as on campus recruitment or you have to look for off campus recruitment.
As soon as you get a job for aircraft manufacturing, you will get training and start working on different projects and you are become an aircraft manufacturer.
Hope it helps!
Hello aspirant!!
