how to change the qualification from 10+2 to B.Tech (IT)

In order to achieve Candidates must have passed Class 10+2 exam from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects.

B.Tech is a professional Engineering degree with various Streams. To study B.Tech you have to stud Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or any vocational subject. Now in India we have various entrance examinations for studying B.Tech. You can check them at: https://engineering.careers360.com/exams?level=1 These inclused exams conducted at All India Level and State Level. One of them is JEE Mains. To qualify for JEE Mains, there is no minimum aggregate criteria. But if you want to join NITs, IIITs or CFTIs then you should score a minimum aggregate of 75% only in your 12th. 11th marks aren't considered. And then to appear for JEE Advanced which is the gateway for admission to IITs, you will need to fulfill the 75% aggregate condition. Now it is 75% for General Category and 65% for Reserved Categories. So how much you score in 12th is what matters to secure your eligibility for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and JEE Advanced. But for the year 2020, the 65-75% norm has been relaxed due to the Pandemic. It is not clear which class are you in right now but first you need to have Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Vocational subject at 10+2 level and appear for Entrance examinations. During Counselling, you have to choose IT as your stream. Or the closest can be CSE as well.
