How to choose the engineering branch?
Dear Mehak,
Choosing and finalising an engineering branch must be a matter of interest/passion/curiosity and the area where you can really shine. You need to analyse, which of the subjects (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry) you are good in and then which TOPIC do you find most interesting for you. For instance, if you good at coding/programming, you can opt for Computer Science or if you want to work in real estate/construction or development of infrastructure, then Civil Engineering is the branch for you. Similarly, if you are interested in Robotics/Robots, then Mechatronics is the branch for you. If you aspire to make a career/name for yourself in Automobile/Automotives industry, then Mechanical Engineering would be the right branch for you.
However, above all, do not just follow the trends or what your friends are gping for. Their interest/knowledge/understanding can be different from yours for a particular branch/topic.
Just finalise the branch of engineering where you feel, you can learn, grow and which can help you bring the best in you based on your seeking spirit, interest and career-orientation.
It is good that you want to choose the branch by having the proper consideration with others. Because many of the student after passing the class 12th choose any of the engineering which they find out fancy for them.
At this stage I would suggest you to look at your favourite subjects and find out what could be best for you suppose if you have computer science in your subject and if you are really able to code the things then go for computer science engineering
For example you have physics chemistry and maths
Look for those topics which you find interesting for you because In Mathematics Physics and Chemistry there are so many topics and your interest could lie in any of those and choose the branch according to it.
