Start your IIT JEE preparation with Class XII textbooks that you have. You can also refer to NCERT books that are prepared by many subject experts and are quite economical too. IIT preparation is a devotion that needs to start early.
* Beware of using too many reference books. Askiitians has a list of importantIIT JEE preparation books (https://www.askiitians.com/important-books-iit-jee.aspx)that you can use for reference. Use the ones that cover maximum syllabus and suit your learning style. * It can help you to score more by indexing topics in order of priority or weightage they carry in JEE Main andClass XII board exams (https://www.askiitians.com/school-exams/cbse/class-12.html). * Grill yourself into the basics until all your fundamentals are very clear as JEE Main is specifically designed to test how well students have grasped the topics and how they apply them to a given set of problems. * Revise, practice usingprevious year papers of IIT JEE (https://www.askiitians.com/iit-papers/iit-jee-papers.aspx), check solutions from solved papers, seek help where needed and revise and practice again.
It is not required to clear JEE for entering ISRO at any of the cadre.
JEE is required to join IIT, where you would have studied Engineering. Post that you would have applied to ISRO to join as Scientist/Engineer -SC.
Even now you can clear any of other exams or comman entrance tests of the state you are residing and join engineering in Non-IITs.
After you complete BE you can still apply for ISRO and join as scientist /engineer -SC.
So don't worry if you couldn't clear JEE, only small percentage of ISRO scientists are from IITs and majority are from Non-IIT engineeriing colleges.
Firstly you have to analyze your syllabus and then you should marks the chapters which are easy and has maximum weightage. Then you have read ncert and gain in depth knowledge. You should also solve previous year question paper which will help you in your exam.
Thanks
All the very best
