First of all NCERT should be on your fingertips especially in the case of chemistry
Secondly One must practice at least any 2 books to enhance their questions solving skills like HC verma, advanced organic chemistry, OP tondon are some good books which you should follow.
Also mock tests are very important as many mock exams you give more clearer your concepts will be.
