How to Convert 7 Point Scale CGPA to Percentage of Marks (Mumbai University)? Which Semesters to be considered?
Answer (1)
Dear Nirav, For 7 point Grading system, the percentage shall be calculated on the basis of percentage of actual marks obtained by the Candidates. Lets say you have scored 5 on a 7 point scale. Then it is:
5*10/7, 10 which is 7.1 on a 10 point scale. Now for converting this into percentage,
7.1*9.5= 67.45%

You can leave it as 7 point grading system but mention the same in the CV.
How to convert percentage into pointer (out of 7)?
The Mumbai University document dated June 2017 states conversion shall be based on percentage of actual marks. Wouldn't that mean adding up the scores of all subjects and then dividing by the total possible score?
