How to crack MBA interviews Without any Coching class
Hi, Most of the MBA interview has Group Discussion/Written Ability Test and Personal Interview Process.
It is not necessary that one joins a coaching class for this preparation.
You have to be thorough in the following topics to crack an interview
1) Academic Related Questions - Be prepared for questions related to your academics (Important theories) Take up 2 or 3 favourite subjects of yours in your under graduate degree and get prepared.
2) General Knowledge/Current Affairs Questions - The interviewee can expect any question under the sun related to GK. Hence, the preparation for this is to be up to date with the current affairs and take it cool. It is okay to say I am not aware/ I don't know for a question asked in an interview. All they expect is honesty and not to bluff.
3) HR Questions - These types of questions reveal your personality to the interviewers. Be honest and reply how you would react to a hypothetical situation given.
There are many accounts of interview experiences given in websites like Quora to understand the type of questions asked in an interview of a particular college, written by the students who were selected in the interview. Please go through them to gain confidence.
Remember to be causual and turn the interview into a coffee table discussion in order to impress the interviewers. Just be yourself.
Don't forget to read newspapers like The Hindu everyday, especially the editorials as it may help you to form opinions on current happenings around the world and help you during the group discussions and WAT Process.
All the best for your MBA Interview, you will get the best college.
