In order to prepare for physics your concepts should be clear. If your concepts will be clear you can easily solve the problems. You can take help of NCERT books to build your fundamentals strong.
Exercises which are given at the end of each chapters are extremally important.
Apart, from NCERT you can go for HC Verma.
Try to solve previous year questions to understand the level of the exam.
