PRODUCT BASED COMPANY- The product-based companies are those companies which is based upon a tangible product i.e. a product which we can see or touch.

Examples include Apple provides the cell phones iPad, iPod, MacBook, etc., Microsoft provides Microsoft offic,e Windows version Gaming app, etc., Google provides Gmail, Google Drive, Google map, etc.

You can judge these companies by the products you see on their website.

SERVICE BASED COMPANY- The service-based companies deals with the intangible product i.e. it gives software solutions to other company. Service-based companies use the product made by product-based companies.

Examples include Tata Consultancy Services , Wipro Cognizant Infosys etc. (Use Oracle software made by Oracle company)
