I will share some tips by which you can improve upon your sketching skills:

DRAW: The more you practice the better you become. Take inspiration from things around you and try to reproduce them on the paper. It may take more than one attempt to get a good work but never stop trying.

GO to an art gallery or observe other paintings and sketches. You can learn a lot form those works

Maintain a Sketchbook: This helps you to see your progress and will be a motivation. It can also be a motivation fr you to draw more

You can look at youtube videos on art and how to draw a particular thing.
Spare some time everyday to practice. You can make a new art work or complete a previous one
