How to get a job after B. Tech?

I take it that you have made a decision to work after your B. Tech rather than go for higher studies or pursue a MBA or something like that.

My brother just graduated from Delhi Technological University last year, so I feel I may be able to help you in this regard.

According to Stack Overflow's 2018 Developer Survey, we found out one major thing:

• DevOps and machine learning are important trends in the software industry today, developers working in these areas command the highest salaries.
• Python has risen in the ranks of programming languages, surpassing C# in popularity this year, much like it surpassed PHP last year.

So, note that Data Mining and Artificial Intelligence are in the hot spot right now if you are going to work in the computer science sector. I am not much aware of the trending topics in other streams of Engineering, but there is always Google!

And also, the main foundation for these courses is coding. So, I would advice you to practice coding from now onwards. Start with websites like CodeChef and HackerRank, by starting with Data Structures and Algorithms. Later on comes DBMS and Operating Systems.
