How to get a seat in Indian institute of mass media . I mean through boards score or it has its own exam.
Hii Ritesh,
You should have minimum academic qualification and IIMM has three stages in its admission process which includes written examination, group discussion and personal interview. Candidates who qualify these stages can get admission in IIMM.
Hi Ritesh,
The institute you are referring to is known as IIMC (Indian Institute of Mass Communication) and not Indian Institute of Mass Media. IIMC does not consider boards score as it offers courses to students who have completed their graduation. It offers a PG Diploma and the duration of the PGD is one year.
If you wish to study at IIMC, you need to take an entrance test that is held every year, after you complete your graduation. First, you need to qualify the written entrance test, after which you will be called for an interview at IIMC. The total score of the written exam and the interview will decide whether you will get admission in the institute or not. Keep yourself updated with current events for the preparation of the entrance test.
Hope this helped. All the best !
Hello Ritesh,
IIMC provides admission to post graduate diploma courses by conducting entrance test for each course. As it offers post graduate diploma courses, the minimum eligibility criteria to appear for the same is bachelor's degree in any discipline.
So, you can apply for these courses once you complete or in the third year of your graduation. And the admission to the college would be through an entrance test.
Hope this helps. Thanks.
