HOW TO GET GADINAADU/ HORANAADU KANNADIGA CERTIFICATE WHAT IS THE ELIGIBILITY CRIETERIA
To get a Gadinaadu or Horanaadu Kannadiga certificate, follow this process and ensure you meet the eligibility:
Eligibility:

Horanaadu Kannadiga: A person of Kannada origin residing outside Karnataka but in other states of India.

Gadinaadu Kannadiga: A person of Kannada origin residing outside India.

The applicant or their parent/grandparent must have studied in Kannada medium or be able to read, write, and speak Kannada.

Must have proof of ancestry or nativity linked to Karnataka.
Documents required:
- Application form (available from the Karnataka Examination Authority or district Tahsildar office)

Address proof (of current residence outside Karnataka/India)
Ancestral proof (like parent’s or grandparent’s Karnataka-issued documents)
Study certificate (if available) of applicant or parent from Karnataka
Affidavit declaring Kannada language proficiency
Identity proof (Aadhar, passport, etc.)
Passport-sized photographs
Application:
- Collect the application form from the KEA office or download if available.
