Eligibility for IITs B.tech Courses -
- Should be born on or after October 01st, 1995.
- Should have Physics, Chemistry and Maths as core subject in Class 12th
- Should have 75% aggregate in 5 subjects of class 12th ( For General category)
- Should have appeared and qualified JEE Mains
- Should Have appeared and qualified JEE Advance after JEE Mains.
There are 16 IITs. Admissions to IITs are done one the basis of merit in JEE Advance. You first need to appear and qualify JEE Mains and after that JEE Advance. Admissions will be given on basis of your rank in JEE Advance

To get into IIT there are two ways
- Jee mains
- Gate
One if for Under graduates and one for post graduation.
For both of them you have to keep these things in mind:
- Plan a daily timetable which should have equal distribution of number of hours to each subject.
- Always start from basics
- Never prefer solutions of questions before doing self-attempt
- Always try a question with conceptual approach
- Be confident while you are preparing. Never loose confidence
- Always keep the copy of latest syllabus of the particular exam. Always check the syllabus before starting a new topic
- Always study everything with great interest otherwise it will be of NO USE.
