KVPY stands for kishore vidyarthi protsahan yougna. This is the exam conducted by Government of India to give scholorships to meterious students from science background.  Class 11, class 12 and first year graduation students are eligible for it. One can also take admission to IISc banglore by getting good marks in KVPY.
