To join Jawaharlal Nehru University you have to give entrance exam conducted by the JNU which is JNUEE (jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam).

Jawaharlal Nehru University New Delhi is one of the biggest universities in India. This campus is famous for its green cover and flora. The institution is renowned for its teaching, research and other programs on campuses. This resulted in the NIRF (National Institutional Rankings Framework) giving a highly prestigious ranking, for example, 3rd in 2016 and 2nd in 2017. JNU holds its Entrance Examination (JNUEE) for entry into the UG and PG courses. The examination is also referred to as the JNU CEEB or JNU Entry Exam. Depending on the course size, the JNU eligibility criteria are different. Before applying, the candidates will test the same. For some courses, the university conducts a selection procedure for admission which includes a viva-voce exam after the written entrance exam. While the JNU admission to some courses is done through an online examination. The annual entrance exams will be held from May 11 to May 14 and the results for all UG and PG programmes will be declared in May 31.
The application will start in March and the mode of application will be online. The exam will happen between 11th to 14th May 2020, also online and the result will come out on 31st May 2020.
On-line version of JNU application form is available. Once you fill in the application form, you will enter your professional, academical and contact details and the photo and signature will have to be uploaded.
The pattern of the JNU exam is different for different exams. Candidates are advised to check the complete exam pattern of the exam they are appearing for. It will allow them to understand the structure of the exam, number of sections in the test, types of questions, subjects / sub-topics / syllabus of the exam, etc. The exams will have only multiple choice questions in online mode. Negative marking will also depend on the subject for which the exam is being conducted.
Candidates would get to know the topics they have to work on after knowing the exam pattern of JNU. To get familiar with the exam, candidates are advised to solve the sample papers or previous year question papers.
