Hi student,

Two different agencies conduct examinations to fill vacancies in CBI. They are UPSC and SSC. To become a group A officer in CBI, you must choose Civil Service Examination conducted by UPSC and become an IPS officer. To join as Sub Inspector in CBI, you must go through SSC CGL examination.

Eligibility criteria:

1. Education Qualification :

   1. Must have a Bachelor's Degree from a Recognized University (The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply, however they must possess Essential qualification on or before 01-August of the year of notification.).

Age Limit :

1. 20-30 for General Category

2. 20-33 years for OBC Category

Hope it helps.

Good luck.
