How to learn a subject in 10th class because I don't know how to practice a maths and learn sst and also a other subjects
Hey there,
Yes, you can improve a lot in Class 10 even if you currently feel that you don't know how to study. The key is to study each subject differently rather than using the same method for everything.
Mathematics — Learn → Practice → Repeat
Don't just read solutions.
- Read the concept/formula from your textbook.
- Solve the example questions yourself.
- Solve all exercise questions without looking at the solution.
- Mark questions you couldn't solve and try them again the next day.
- After finishing a chapter, solve previous-year questions.
- Take a small test every week.
Daily: 1.5–2 hours of Maths is a good target.
SST — Understand, don't memorize blindly
For History, Geography, Civics and Economics:
Read → understand → close the book → recall → write.
For example, after reading a topic, close the book and ask yourself:
- What happened?
- Why did it happen?
- What were its effects?
- Can I explain it in 4–5 points?
Make short notes, timelines, maps and keywords. Then practice writing answers because knowing the chapter isn't enough—you need to reproduce it in the exam.
Thanks
