How to prepare for GK/Current Affairs?
Hello leesha,
GK/Current affairs is a very important section in exams like AIIMS, JIPMER etc.as it can degrade or enhance your percentile drastically. Ideally for being able to answer all questions with precision and accuracy, one should read newspaper on a daily basis to keep ourselves updated. But if you haven't been reading or watching news regularly, now you can go through the previous year question papers of that exam and learn all the facts. Besides to know about things that have happened in the recent past, you can refer to general knowledge books like Manorama year book.
Hope this information was helpful.
Good luck!
Hi Leesha,
To prepare for Current Affairs and General knowledge, the most efficient and important way is to develop a habit of reading the newspaper daily. You can read newspapers like The Hindu, The Economic Times etc. These have been proven very good for preparation for competitive exams. This method is way more efficient than rot learning from any book or website. In case you want to refer any book or website you can use any monthy, yearly, quaterly magazine like Jagran Josh, Manorama, Pratiyogita darpan in addition to the newspapers. You can use gktoday.in website too. For static GK you can use Pearsons guide- concised size or full size depending upon your requirements.
