Lets clarify exam by exam:
1) SNAP GK
GK in SNAP Exam has 20% weightage, 30 Questions Out of 150 total questions in SNAP 2016, there will be 30 questions on GK. SNAP 2016 has clearly provided the framework of your GK study by limiting it to last 2 years of current affairs. So, You need to study current affairs of last 2 years for SNAP. And these are the areas you have to emphasis upon:-
Key areas:-
1. Business affairs like mergers and acquisitions, New products, brand ambassadors during last 2 years
2) National affairs including social, sports, films, awards, appointments, science etc
3) International affairs including personalities in news, appointments, major events and agreements, sports etc)
4) Economy and finance based current affairs like various schemes, budget, survey etc
2) TISS GK
GK in TISSNET Exam plays a very crucial role, as Around 40% weightage is given to GK in TISSNET.
GK Section is highly scoring section and It takes very less time too, so we can say this section is deciding one for students.
The overall level of paper is easy to moderate with no negative marking, so If You score 30+ in GK , You would easily get the call from TISSNET.
