how to register complain against someone who's not paying tax
Hello aspirant,
If you want to file a complaint against any person for tax evasion, either you can visit your nearest income tax office and file a tax evasion petition with them. Else you can also you can send your petition to the investigation wing of income tax dept or to the assessing officer concerned. Income tax dept will take action on your petition, after verifying the veracity of your complaint.
Also there is an online option:-
To file the complaint, go to https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home. Click on 'Submit Tax Evasion Petition or Benami Property holding' option on the Bottom Left corner. You shall be asked if you wish to file complaint with or without claim for reward. Choose the appropriate option.
