HOW TO REGISTER FOR IP CONCELLINBG RROCEDURE FOR B.TECG 2018

Hello Aayushi,

The counseling for admission to various courses under the IPU began on 14th of June. Th ecounseling will have 3 rounds and except for the counseling for the Biotech. stream that of every other stream will be done in online mode. You have to follow the below mentioned steps to do the same:

1. Paying Counseling fees.

At the end of the page you will find two options- Pay participation fee and Registration. First of all, you will have to click on the pay option and remit a fee of 1000 rupees( excluding bank charges) either in online mode(net banking,debit/credit card) or offline mode(challan). After filling your course,date of birth,roll number and mobile number you will be directed to a page where you can pick either the offline or online option. The last date for paying the fees online is 19th of June, the last date for offline payment has not been specicified and is expected to be updated soon. On picking the offline mode, a challan will be generated and you will have to pay at any branch of Indian Bank.

2. Register-After payment is done ,you will have to register again. Candidates who has made the payment in offline mode will receive only two working days after cash is depositedto complete the registration.To register, the candidate will have to enter the IPU CET details like roll number, name, date of birth, result status and visual code. contact details. Once this has been doen you will receive a login ID and password. Keep these credentials safe and use it to access your counseling details.

Candidates are advised to take two print out of the registration form as he/she will be required to submit the same at the time of document verification. Moreover, candidates have an edge to edit the details till the last date of registration.

3. Next step is filling your choices. In this step , you need to log in with your details and submit your course and institution choice according to the order of preference.It is advisable that a candidate should fill the maximum number of options to ensure that he/she is allotted the seat of his/her choice.

After filling the choices, candidate is suggested to take two printouts of their choices.

The candidates eligible for reservation and applying under the same should get their Reserved Category Certificates verified at Designated Centres. This can be done till June 20,2018.

3.Seat Allotment

Once the above steps has been completed,seat will be alloted based on merit and choices submitted. To access the allotment details,one needs to login with the credentials. It is also important to print and download provisional allotment letter. To confirm the seat, candidates will have to pay a part academic fee which would mean that they have accepted the seat allotted to them. The print out of admission fee receipt must be taken after the payment.

Freezing of Allotted Seat - In cases where candidate opts for freeze option, it denotes that he/she is satisfied with the seat allotted to him/her and doesn't want to participate in the subsequent rounds.

Withdrawal and Fee Refund -After depositing the academic fee, if the candidate wants to withdraw the allotted seat, he/she can opt for withdrawal option. After this, candidate will only be considered for spot round.

Sliding of Allotted Seat after Last Round - The University also has the facility of sliding round.

Spot IPU CET Counselling - If vacant seats are still left, then admission authority will conduct the spot counselling in offline mode.

Note: Seat allotment is separate for Delhi candidates, outside Delhi and all India candidates.

After the seats has been alloted and the satisified candidates take admission,some of the candidates might withdraw their admission and so on leaving the seats vacant,(The date for withdrawing admissions will be updated) the next round of counseling will begin with choice change after payment of fees for first round.This shall be from June 22 to 26 and this round will end on July 6 , with the option for withdrawal of admission being open from July 2 to 6.

The third round shall follow the same steps and is expected to begin on July 2 to July 6th for choice change and this round will finish with the final open counseling /Spot counseling from July 24 to 31.
