HOW TO REGISTER TO BAMS IN KARNATAKA
Hello,
As you are aware, admissions to all the seats in Government & Private AYUSH Colleges will take place on the basis of NEET scores from this year onwards. This means that only candidates who have qualified NEET will be eligible for admissions to BAMS, BHMS, BYNS and BUMS courses (also known as ISM&H courses) offered by colleges in Karnataka.
Now two points to note about the counselling -
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will only be responsible for holding counselling to Government AYUSH colleges and the Government share of seats in private AYUSH colleges.
Candidates interested in joining private AYUSH colleges through Management quota will be required to approach the college directly or apply through the college website with their NEET score.
The link to admissions to the AYUSH courses through CET is expected to be made available under the CET section on the KEA homepage and can be accessed here - http://kea.kar.nic.in/cet_2018.htm
It should be noted that admissions to the ISM&H courses (Indian System of Medicine and Homoepathy) in Karnataka in 2017 began after the counselling to medical, dental, engineering, agriculture and other courses was already started. Given the absence of any admission notifications thus far this year, it is expected that the counselling for the AYUSH/ISM&H courses will be started late this year as well.
Registered candidates (who completed their document verification by June 27) can visit the above link to keep track of when the notification about the AYUSH counselling is released, when seat matrix will be released and when the option entry process for AYUSH courses will begin.
To check details about the AYUSH colleges in the meantime, Click Here (Info given from Pg 26 onwards)
Hope this helps. All the best!
You have to visit Karnataka state medical official website for more information.

Dear Mehar,
You have to visit the website of the Karnataka Examination Authority (http://kea.kar.nic.in/) and register with your NEET score. The website is yet to open the registration window for BAMS. It is expected to open soon, though we are not in a position to tell you when this will happen. However, all admissions have to close by September 30, so it is expected to start soon.
Once you register, there will be a common counselling process for seat allotment. In the meanwhile, you should try to understand the procedure followed for Counselling for MBBS/BDS. This will make you familiar with the counselling process, seat allotment, reservation etc. The documents required for BAMS counselling will also be similar.
Just to be sure, do visit any of the government or private Ayurveda colleges nearby and try to get some first-hand information. At the same time, be on the lookout for any information in this regard in newspapers and also on the KEA website mentioned above.
If we do get any information, we will give the updates here. Best of luck!
