or you can take admission through entrance exam also, for that you have to take participate in counseling and then choose college then take admission.

Generally Admission for b.tech by counselling and merit list

For IIT and nit by jee mains

Some universites have their own entrance exams for b.tech programs like SRMJEEE ,viteee  etc.

If you want to get into government colleges then write a common test like emcet for AP, if you want private college then you need to apply for that university separately..
