Hello Bhanu,
To score well in the exam, you should obviously start your preparation early. It will give you enough bandwidth to go through each topic in detail and also solve enough problems. Here are a few other tips.
- Work on your fundamentals - because JEE Main will include many concept-based questions
- Solve sample and previous years' question papers - it will give you a realistic overview of where you stand, your weak and strong areas. But please ensure that you don't solving the same type of questions again and again. Instead as many varied and complex questions you can. That being said, don't spend too much time if you get stuck.
- Take notes during study - notes are easier to revise, as they contain only the important points.
- Take mock tets
- Study advanced books - if you are reading only books prescribed for your board exams only, now is the time to try out more advanced books as well.
Best of luck.
