Well the answer is simple: PRACTISE more.

I would advise you to go through the important concepts first. If you have an exam approaching in very near future, in which you want to score good, go through the question asked, applying a reverse technique, i.e. moving from questions to concepts is advisable rather than studying concepts and then doing questions.

In case you want to know a good book, refer Topology by James Munkres. I would suggest you to search important topics online, rather than going through whole book.

Apart from that you may consider tricks and shortcuts to solve problems, that you are facing on YouTube, as there many experts teach you tricks that are very easy and useful.
