hi ,
from 3rd year of btech course students gets to select the elective subjects, however some times all subjects may not available in college and you may end up with the subjects which college has allotted for you. before choose any elective subject search about what about this new topics, how it may help you with job prospect of view, you are getting interest for it or not, . hope it would help.

Hello aspirant, selecting electives is mostly based on the choices of the institution, however some colleges may ask students to choose their own subjects, choosing them must be followed on basis of your interest, you can refer the syllabus if you want and can choose it. Comparing with other subjects and knowing the criteria of that subject can be helpful in choosing it.
