How to start game programming after 12th?

if you are new to programming then you first have to learn basic coding. there are a lot of programming languages and if you are interested in the game development, then c++ is the best choice as there is one very famous game development tool, unity which requires c++ knowledge.

You can learn c++ from various online courses and you can also buy some books by Bjarne Stroustrap.

Enroll in course like Computer Science Engineering, BSc Computer Science or any other computer related course. Take game development as a hobby. You can learn it from Youtube, Udemy and various online platforms. Develop your own games. Start simple don’t start with a big projects like MMORPG. Learn as much as you can. Publish your own game on play store or app store or other platforms. Learn marketing as well. Try to make your own game a hit. If you couldn’t do that then send the games you created to publishers and game companies. If your games are good they will make you a partner or hire you. Also apply for jobs. Show the games that you developed previously. If nothing works you don’t have to worry because you have a computer science degree and you know coding. So you can apply for jobs in IT companies. That is the power of computer science degree. If you have degree in only game development your scope is very limited. So it is good to have a degree in Computer Science.
