To get good rank in jee advanced you should blindly follow these steps-

1 Practice the mock tests because it is a best way to familiarize with the exam pattern and types of questions.

2 Make a smart schedule for self-study of all the relevant subjects deeply.

3Collect all the materials related to the officially prescribed syllabus and prepare accordingly.

4 Choose the right study material which covers the entire syllabus. Must go through NCERT booksfor preparation also.

5 Solve previous years papers as many as possible.

6 Stay healthy and do revision on a daily basis.

all you need to do is,

• get the syllabus
• put a schedule
• stick to it for best preparation
• then revise it

really that's it.if you're going to any coaching institute it is well and good,you can prepare with their study material and revise them with the previous year papers.

if you're not going any coaching,that is excellent.really self -learning is the best thing to learn whatever.you may have doubts while self-learning,on that time you can refer any free websites or youtube channels etc.,since you have many resources.start your preparation from NCERT books and then go to any other important boooks.if you're clear in concept,then practice it with the sample papers.be confident and dont get panic/stress,you've good space for preparation.
