Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) seats help students reduce tuition fees based on merit and income criteria.
You can usually get TFW benefits by:
- scoring well in entrance exams like JEE Main, MHT CET, KCET, CUET, etc., or
- maintaining a high CGPA/academic performance in college.
Most TFW schemes also require:
- low family income proof, and
- admission through official counselling processes.
Under TFW, tuition fees may be partially or fully waived, but hostel and other charges usually still need to be paid.
