Hi.
The percentile score is the relative performance of the candidate with regards to other candidates. It is determined individually for separate subjects along with the overall examination. Candidates can calculate their percentile score by converting the scores into a scale between 100 and 0. This means percentile score is normalized score and not the raw score obtained by the candidates. (100 P/100)*N+1
Or you can also calculate your JEE Main 2019 rank using the rank predictor tool.

Yeah, I understand that. But , I am still not clear about how the rank will be decided . Let 9,00,000 and 11,00,000 students appeared in January and April session. Then , while taking out the ranks of students using best percentile among January and april, how many students are considered to calculate rank ..., 9 lakhs ( January session ) or 11 lakhs ( April session ) ?? Or will they take out the average of number of students in Jan and April to calculate rank using percentile ?

They will take an average of percentile for January session and then for April session.
