Hows your admission process for diploma?

The minimum qualification required for admission into a diploma course is passing of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate(10th or 12th) with at least 35 percent in science and maths subjects.The state boards of technical education of most of the states in India conduct entrance tests for admission to the diploma programmes offered by various polytechnics in the state.Th e candidates are required to fill the application form before due date which is available on dte website. The admission process is based on merit list which will be prepared on the marks obtained in the secondary school certificate.Thus, you will be alloted a college after counselling rounds.

Then, for further b.tech or b.e can be pursued only after writing the LET, the Lateral Entry Test. If you do well on this test, you can apply to B.Tech./B.E. programmes.

Diploma courses are generally of the duration of 1 year and the procedure for diploma courses is entirely variable based on the place or college that you choose to carry out your diploma from as some colleges take entrance whereas some take directly based on percentage.
