There is no problem in persuing any course after passing class 12th whether you do it from regular school or an open school. So if you are from a science background you can go for competitive exams like NEET, JEE , COMEDK or courses like BSc BA BCOM etc. If you are from commerce background you can go for BCOM BBA etc. Similarly if you re from arts background you can go for BA or Mass Communication etc. The importance of your class 12th marks and certificate in open school is the same as of cbse or isc in every state. The kind of job and  future salary depends on the course you choose and the efforts you put in. You can give competitive exams after graduation like SSC UPSC Banking etc.
