I am 16 years old and 5.6 tall. When I was 15-month old I got hurt and permantly damaged my right eye and now I have -8 in my right eye which is not correctable. I also too have -1.75 on my left which is correctable. Overall I have excellent physic. I just want to kno if I am eligible for NDA or not

As per the guidelines for NDA examination, a candidate should be able to read in a distant vision chart 6/6 in better eye and 6/9 in worse eye with or without glasses. Myopia should not be more than 2.5 D and hypermetropia not more than 3.5 D including Astigmatism. Internal examination of the eye will be done by means of ophthalmoscope to rule out any disease of the eye. A candidate must have good binocular vision.

So unfortunately you will not be eligible to pass the strict medical tests owing to your damaged right eye.
