I am 24 years old my btech had happened 2016 in cse I didn't get any job my family is always pressurize me what can now I do
Hello Kiran,
Since you graduated in 2016 but haven't done anything meanwhile you will have to explain the reason for the gap time in almost every interview so have an answer prepared for that. If you were in no touch with your graduation course subjects then as a B. Tech CSE graduate you can do the following things to make yourself job ready -
- Improve your programming and communication skills. Master at least one programming language(C, C++, Java, Python etc.,).
- Have a good knowledge over DBMS(MySQL, Oracle etc.,).
- Many technical courses/certifications have been offered on sites like Coursera, Edx, Udacity, Udemy etc., You can improve your resume by completing and earning certificates. Udacity’s nano degrees help you in building a job-ready portfolio and they have hiring partners.
- Always be aware of vacancies and Walk-in Interviews via your friends working for different companies.
- Make a well-structured CV/Resume and improve your communication skills.
- Then Register on some of the genuine job portals, like trijobs, naukri.com, linkedIn, etc.
- Search jobs according to your interest and then send resume to those companies.
Or you can also start preparing for GATE exam for further studies or PSU jobs. There are many government job exams or banking exams you can sit for them also. But don't sit idle because if you sit idly without doing anything for much longer then you won't even earn experience and on top of that that will become a negative point for your selection anywhere.
Hope this helps.
Hi aspirant
This is very common problem among the engineering graduates .
Don't loose your hope .There is a solution to your problem.Stop listening others.Try to start working on yourself .
First of all practice coding everyday .Make your account on websites like internshala.com,naukri.com,linked.com,indeed.com
Try to learn new skills required in industry .Join courses like web development, android development, cloud computing or CCNA ,Machine learning or IOT etc.
Do some courses and then after do a few internship .Take some expirence and then after apply in company.
Try to ask for recommendation if you have anyone in IT company that can help you a lot.
You may join online courses or offline as well whichever suits you.
There are various off campus jobs you can easily get but you have to be prepared .
Hope this was helpful.
