I am a B.Tech graduate. Having 67% in X, 59% in XII and 61% in engineering. I am SC also. This year I didnt get well in CAT. I am willing to give a year gap for my preparation. If I give a year gap is it hamper my next years admission to a good college or for future placement?

@Shardha: I would suggest you to drop provided you utilize the year with job or something prominent. Also if you can justify the gap only for CAT prep, IIM or top B-School panel might not give it positive response. Good Luck!
