Hello Karan,
Since you belong to general category, you can only get EWS certificate issued from your nearest Competent Authority and not any caste certificate. Also you'll need following documents for issue of BPL card:
1.Aadhar Card
2.Pan Card
3.Recent Passport Size Photograph
4.Bank Statement or Passbook
5.Applicant Caste Certificate
6.The income proof of the applicant
7.Latest Electricity Bill
8.Gas connection passbook
