I am a MBA 2nd year student.. By 2019 i want to join for PHD in finance. What kind of exam i should write and GRE is important for PHD?

GRE or GMaT both are accepted by various schools offering PHD in USA.
Alongside you also need to give IELTs or TOEFL as language speaking test.
