I am a PCB student in class 12th and I want to give my CUETexam with the subject combination of biology chemistry agriculture will I be eligible for DU and BHU university or do I have to change my subject combination Can I fill my domain subject agriculture instead of physics as a pcb student
For BHU University
You can be eligible for many BHU science courses if you pick the right CUET subjects.
For B.Sc. Agriculture through BHU, the university accepts CUET combinations like:
Physics + Chemistry + Biology
Physics + Chemistry + Agriculture
Physics + Chemistry + Maths
So with PCB + Agriculture in CUET, you are eligible for B.Sc. Agriculture at BHU because that matches one of their allowed subject sets. You still need to meet the minimum class 12 marks requirement too.
For B.Sc. Biology-group courses at BHU, they usually ask for Physics + Chemistry + Biology, which you also have.
So for BHU, your combination looks good for Bio, Agriculture, and similar life-science courses.
For Delhi University (DU)
DU usually requires that you match specific CUET subject combinations for each course.
For most B.Sc. life science courses, DU prefers:
Physics + Chemistry + Biology
You must also include at least one language in CUET, like English or Hindi.
Right now, Biology, Chemistry, Agriculture as your only science subjects may not be enough alone for DU B.Sc., because DU looks at Physics + Chemistry + Biology plus a language.
Hi Tanu,
So, The thing is that you have to choose PCB as your domain subjects in CUET Exam as they are the main subjects that every university considers. You can add Agriculture as an additional subject.
