I have a B.Sc. (honours) degree in physics. I am planning to become a lecturer in school after my M.Sc.+ B.Ed. Am I eligible for this post? Is B.Sc. program is required for a school teacher according to the New Education Policy?

No, it is mandatory to apply for the subject in which candidates have their master’s degree. Along with the B.Ed degree and CTET certificate is also mandatory.
