Hi student,

The only eligibility criteria for appearing in gate examination and pursue M.Tech or M.E. is as follows:

• Candidates should have completed their Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Master’s degree (M.Sc) in any relevant science subject or must be in the final year of the programme.

• While applying for GATE 2019, there is no minimum p ercentage in the qualifying degree.

• There is no upper age limit for applicants of GATE.

So you can appear for gate if you fulfill above eligibility criteria and pursue M.Tech or M.E.
